This prestigious recognition highlights schools that demonstrate exceptional student achievement and success in closing achievement gaps. Schools are selected based on important indicators such as CAASPP assessment results, attendance, and suspension rates.

Ralston earned this award as an Achievement Gap Closer, recognizing the hard work and dedication of our students, staff, and families in ensuring every Eagle has the opportunity to succeed.

The last time Ralston received the California Distinguished School Award was in 2005, and we are incredibly proud to earn this recognition again 21 years later in 2026.
